Wildwood COTD : 15 The Guardian

And on this weirdly weathered wonderful Monday afternoon, Priestess Tarot talks about: Card 15, The Guardian.

Talk about a scary card! Just to look at him and you know he’d be perfect on All Hallows Eve (Samhain)! This isn’t your traditional “Devil” pulling you perhaps in two different directions, this one is guarding something in that there cave behind him. The question is, what? And what do I have to do to go and have a look? Am I scared? If I were facing this beast (for it’s the skeleton of a bear) on a dark winters night, with no lights behind or before me, yes, I’d be scared! I’m not a fool!

Would I run away? I might want to, but there is nothing to fear but fear itself, so a Japanese philosopher called Son Su is claimed to have said. However, Google credits it to FDR (Franklin D Roosevelt) but he must have gotten it from somewhere? Regardless, I’m going to use it and face up to my fears. Facing this bear is probably going to be a challenge (I can hear the “hell yea’s from here) but it is one I have to do, there’s no turning back.

But can someone turn on the light at the end please, so I know it’s there to follow? And just make sure it’s not an a train heading straight for me please, thank you 🙂
