And for this very cold and wet Sunday, here is a reminder that things change with the seasons, slowly, carefully. We see a grand oak tree, sporting the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn (fall if you’re in the USA) and winter. At the base of the tree is a small door, so someone calls this tree home. Before the door sits a maze, intricate and wonderful.
This is the last card of the Major Arcana. To me, it’s a little like the Wheel of the Year: everything is connected from the Spring and the Autumn Equinox, to the Summer and Winter Solstices.
To me, it is also permission to dream. What do I want to be doing in a years time? How am I going to get there? What do I need to do to get there? What obstacles are in the way?
And you know what? Answering these types of questions are what the Tarot is good at! 🙂
