Wildwood COTD : Ace of Bows

For this card you can see a bow and an arrow, lighting up kindling on a log that has been there for some time. The glade in which this act takes place is quiet, secluded and it looks like the sun is about to rise. The fire will provide warmth and heat, but how did the idea come about to start the fire?

By the time I had pulled this card, I really just wanted to start the day again. It wasn’t the big things that had gone wrong, it was the little things that, if I had engaged my brain before hand the night before, would not have happened.

The “spark” about re-reading things the night before and preparing more had not hit me until after the events of today. That though is what experience is: a harsh teacher. But you would think, being a mother of two and in my mid thirties, I would have learnt all this by now, wouldn’t you? Well, I had, but you see, people are lazy, they like things to be easy and preparing isn’t one of those easy tasks. But doing it on the hoof is harder, I can tell you! So, lesson re-learnt. Lets see what else I can find a “spark” for today, eh?
