Wildwood COTD : Major #17, The Pole Star

Today on this Tuesday, we have another Major following on from yesterday’s brilliant new start, it’s the Pole Star, Major 17.

Card of the Day
Major 17 ~ The Pole Star

The Pole Star is the card of wishes, internal dreams, answers from the cosmos and a dose of fate. As you emerge from the darkness of the woodlands of life, you lift your head up and you find yourself in a clearing with the stars swimming around, focusing on you.

So, what do you want to do? Where do you want to go? What are your hopes and dreams?

If you have not worked on them recently, it would be a good idea perhaps, to spend a little time on them today and work out what they are.

It is also a card of intuition, using it, developing it, trusting it. Have you been doing that of late? If not, I feel you should spend some time on it.

So, that is our job for today. I have a list of things to do that is a mile long, so I will see you during the day when I am back on-line and if you need my services at any point, I am here.

Perhaps this was the card that clinched my decision on getting this deck:
The Wanderer emerging from the trials and vicisstudes of learning ~ the path now again illuminated by the Pole Star.
For me this card reinforces that ‘optimism’ remains a delicate balance between the strength of ‘humility’ or even perhaps the formula for the attainment of truth through humility.
Humility telling us the need to recognise ourselves as part of something even greater~ Could this be the underlying concept of optimism, though it may well only be achieved at a price, that without paying, even though the well of hope & dreams was, and will always be there, access to this metaphorical well will at times be closed off for a plethora of circumstances that at first need to be dealt with before The Wanderer is again back on the never ending path towards attaining hopes and dreams?
