It’s Sunday, a day of rest, right? Ha! Not in Wildwood terms though! So, lets get out of bed and get on with it, shall we? However, what does The Mirror have to tell us?
The Mirror is the Wildwood’s answer to The Hanged Man, the card of serious amounts of patience and waiting.
I personally hate waiting and being made to wait. If there was a queue at the point of being born for patience, I wasn’t in it. Or if I was, I was at the back, waiting impatiently and probably never got a healthy dose of patience. But that is enough about me!
The other words that Mark and John associate with The Mirror are prudence and trust. There’s a need here to surrender your will for the process that now lies before you.
But what is this process? This is the process of learning from your insights that come in dreams and from meditation. But if you try to force it, it’s not going to happen. You have to will it to happen but it will happen in its own time and when it’s ready. However, if your soul is not wounded, it probably won’t happen. Be patient! Let the journey commence and let it waken you to fresh to the challenges of life!
The Mirror can represent a lot of ancient people, from Morgan, The Lady of the Lake, Ceridwen, to name three. Can you add any more to this list?
So today, the message is to be patient, prudent and let things happen as they need, rather than force it to happen.
