Wildwood CotD : Queen of Vessels

Today we have a fantastic card come out and I don’t think I could have shuffled a better card to the top of the pile if I had tried. It’s the Queen of Vessels, represented by my Spirit Guide, the Salmon. What a card to have on the day I find out the gender of my unborn child!!

Card of the Day

I could dance with this card, I am so happy she’s turned up! No matter the results, the little soul that has been booting my bladder and lower stomach for these last few weeks will be loved and indeed, has been loved since the moment I knew / discovered / suspected I was pregnant.

At the moment, I’m breaking out in fits of smiles, giggled and dancing around the house to the music on my iPod, which thus far has ranged from Beethoven to David Bowie to Clannad to Chinese Meditation… quite an eclectic mix, even for me!

But today, it’s all about doing what must be done, dang the emotions I and my husband will go through getting there, getting the results of the second (and final) baby scan.  The end goal is what propels me forward, just like this Salmon. I have places to be, people to see, results to obtain, questions to ask…

So whatever your goal today, you may find yourself out of your natural emotional element but in order to obtain what you’ve set as your goal, you need to be! Go with the flow, go against it, do what you need to do to get there, but you might wish to do so with dignity, calmness and sheer dumb luck! Blessings to you and remember: You make your own luck, as Ray Winston is quoted as saying!

Get out of your comfort zone and make your own luck! Love it with the salmon going upstream . . . and I’ll laugh next time I see someone trying to run up the stairs through the crowd going down next time. Wow, that person’s salmoning, making luck! 🙂

*lol* Jordan, you’re funny!! But yes, that’s what they’re doing, being a Salmon! Whether it is wise, is a different game! Depends if they’ve eaten the wise seeds from the Hazel tree 😉
