Today we are joined by the Two of Arrows, the Wildwood’s answer to the Two of Swords, which has the keyword that works across both streams: Injustice.
I’ve been pondering today about what this card might mean, trying to see how, when and if she’s come up today. The word that has stuck in my mind more today than the actual key word has been indecision, rather than injustice.
So what might this entail today? So far, until around 22:00 UK time, she didn’t mean much. But Facebook groups soon raise their heads and written words come as heated and before you know it, a flaming hot discussion is annoying people and harming a community. Some subjects ought not to be discussed on any level, but like car crashes, some folks just cannot stay away from them and perhaps, like to cause them? I don’t know, I’ll not try to figure that one out: I like my head not hurting in my current condition.
But there is also the injustice of other things, just as reports, learning, facts, targets, aims and ambitions that do not, all of the time, meet the actuality of life. But what actually happens is all a perspective, relative and that is what I feel the scales are talking about. On one plate, sits a feather, on the other, some coins. The scales say that they’re balanced, but since when did one feather weigh the same as a handful of coin, of any currency from any era? They don’t, so something isn’t right.
The trick today, is to keep the thoughts as balanced as possible, to keep those scales on a true “even keel”. Thankfully, the day is almost over, for me at least!
