The wind and the rain, the cooler weather, the need for multiple layers and yes, at least here in the northern hemisphere, we’re certainly in autumn! As if to confirm it, The Wildwood’s Emperor, The Green Man came out to join us.
He sits at the Midsummer Solstice when it’s usually warmer, sunnier and drier. Though, with the summer we’ve had in the UK, that would have been something more of a miracle this year! He offers us quite a few things, as fathers often do. He offers us motivation, the “you must do this in order to” logic that fathers often have. He can be fearsome and frightening when he’s angered or protecting any living thing in his domain.
He represents a time to both give and receive the natural flow of life both inwardly and outwardly. It’s time to find a new and thriving drive to begin and finish projects, relationships and perhaps even a new method of living your life and fulfilling your world. It’s time to experience being at the top of your game, the top of the cycle of life. It’s time to enjoy it!
I have to admit, I haven’t felt like this today, but I often find that the Majors take their time in working, so if The Green Man’s energy has joined me and been with me all day, it is no wonder that I felt more in control, centred, charged, commanding at the start of the day. After seeing the consultant (if that’s his job title?) yesterday, where I was, shall I say, given cause to be concerned, I am not today. It is amazing how a conversation with someone or a few people can bring back to you the reminder that the power resides within. I love doing that with people, and I love it when it gets returned to me.
I wonder what the devil tomorrow brings? Oh, the fun I can have!
