This card shows six arrows, arranged in a circle on the sail of a small boat. On one side of the boat lie still waters. On the other side, rougher waters. The face of the figure in the boat is hidden by the hood of his dark cloak. Where is the boat going? Why is it going there?
The key word for this card is: Transition. It’s all about navigating between calm and racing emotions, a still and calm mind as opposed to one that is going at a hundred miles an hour. It’s about finding the path between the two that we need: between sanity and insanity. And sometimes, just getting through the day is a task enough.
And to add to this, family dropped in for a bit on their way home on their long journey. That certainly bought a sense of calm as it was a pleasure to catch up, all be it, briefly.
