Today’s Card of the Day carries with it a keyword that can cause such misery if executed wrongly: Justice. Here we see something of the traditional RWS with the crossed weapon of choice (Swords in the RWS), the blindfold. What we get extra here is the foot on the weapon of choice (the bow), the scales of Justice (linking to Libra) above and the more ornate chair or throne, rather than a rock.
So, what does this card signify? It can signify an injustice if this woman is to go by. I don’t feel she’s acting on logic alone. The scales aren’t balanced, though they appear to be. How can a pile of gold be the same as one single white feather? Something is not right and cutting yourself off to use pure logic (lest your eyes, ears and soul deceive you) just isn’t right. You need all your senses and intuition to work out some situations.
So, the message with this card is perhaps to not shut yourself off and away: do your own investigations, draw your own conclusions. As Sherlock says: when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth!
So, don’t rely on others to make your conclusions. You’ll be doing yourself and others, an injustice.
