Today, we have the messenger of the Druids come and tweet in our ears. I don’t mean Twitter, I mean tweet, tweet: that thing that birds do naturally.
The Druids believed that the wren, the smallest bird, was the wisest. I’ve been looking in the garden for wrens, their song is loud, shrill and while you might not often see this little garden bird, you sure do hear them!
So, wrens remind us to listen. This little bird sits and observes something in the harsh winter day, but it must be warming up where this wren is, the water is flowing and while it is cold, the water is not frozen solid.
This little bird indicates that you need to study, do your homework to bring in the same wisdom and understanding, so that you can apply it to most situations. Youth and determination will carry you forth, your skills may be new, having only just come into existence, but they may bring you to a dynamic realisation.
It’s a Friday, isn’t that all a little heavy going? I have a feeling that the Druids were / are a serious people, so maybe relaxing at the weekend wasn’t on their agenda. But, since inspiration can hit us anywhere, I don’t think it cares about what day of the week it is. So, bring it on! I look forward to helping you listen and work out the answers to your questions.
