It’s Tuesday and for today, my youngest son pulled a card for us all and it was: The Page of Arrows, represented in this deck by the Wren.
This little fellow is the smallest bird we’re ever to likely not see but most certainly, hear! Their shrill bird call is sporadic but intense when they sing. You can hear it and see them here.
Now, Alison Cross wrote a great introductory blog the other day about the Courts from the Wildwood. You can see that post here.
What however, does / did this Wren have in store for us today? From that little video clip, it is obvious to see that Wrens are watchful, had workers, determined and vigilant. They’re also an indication of studying and application of that studying.
They remind us to listen to what is and is not said, to be heard, to apply our learned knowledge and act, if needs be. The book suggests that the Wren will help bring us to a dramatic realisation. Usually, this card comes out for me on a Friday (as per the last two times!) so I wonder what will happen tomorrow, or not, as the case may be.
In any case, if you need someone to listen and talk with, to ask impartial advice from (I have 78 friends to ask on your behalf!) feel free to contact me via this page.
