Today’s Tarot card suggests to us that we need to sit through and endure a little storm. The key word for the card today is just that, Endurance. Whether we are five, thirty-five or sixty-five, there are certain things that we have to endure. Harsh conditions, economic situations… there are things that we all have to endure.
Stones in this deck are linked to Pentacles and Coins in other decks, so it could represent anything from staying put in a job and riding out the storm, to not spending any more cash than you have. I can relate to the last part!
What else might you have to endure in order to survive the darkness?
There are always trials and harsh challenges in life. That never changes. It is interesting that the book highlights a story of Robert the Bruce, who was being hunted by King Edward I. Robert hid in a cave for three winter months. During those winter months, Robert’s only companion was a spider, which tried to spin its web across the cave mouth but had it blown apart time after time after time, until at last, it succeeded. That spider maintained a resilient mind, and the message with this card is the same: Maintain a resilient mind, keep your sense of humour (its important for our mental health) and keep in mind the knowledge that the sun will rise on another day and be filled with different opportunities.
Blessings to you today and in going forward!
