Today The Wildwood reminds us to keep our hopes alive and to remember that every once in a while, we need to look up and take stock and look at the bigger picture.
This deck has not ceased to stop amazing me with its hints, suggestions and tips. However, it’s very apt, synchronistic and timely: I just love it! Does it show?
As The Wanderer emerges from The Wildwood,he glances up to see that the Pole Star shines down upon them, sending the rest of the stars into a spiral of support, a reminder that something or someone, somewhere, has a large amount of spiritual hope and will guide you.
Part of The Wanderers ramblings is to work through The Wildwood and work out his own path through it. That means taking turns here, going backwards there, getting lost, finding your way again (as they have just done in this card) and remembering that the laws that created the Universe in which we reside, also formed us.
Since The Pole Star is a card of hope, spiritual fulfilment, encouragement, direction, inspirational understanding and knowledge, I say this: I hope that for the future, we truly do become equal with each other. That is across genders, generations, creed, colour, ages. It may be a lot to ask for but I heard something interesting today on the Radio. It was a promotional piece about whether or not we’d be in this financial mess if women were more in charge of the banks, the financial sector, more into law making… and my immediate mental reply was: Yes, we’d be in this mess at some point. We need BOTH genders and everyone of every creed, race and background to make this world work! To suggest that it’s down to one particular group to “lead” us forward because they’re “men” or “they know best” is frankly, wrong. There will be a reckoning. I just hope I get to see it.
Personally, today, I hope to gain an understanding for the business going forward and gain some inspiration and ideas. Wish me luck!
