Two days ago, the Green Woman’s male counterpart came out to join us, but today we have the more feminine, gentle side of the magnificent pair come out to join us in the shape of The Green Woman.
Like The Green Man, she sits at the Midsummer point of the Wheel of the Year, so she likes her warm weather and bright sunshine. Where the Green Man was more “do this for me and you’ll get” the Green Woman is more “do this to achieve Y for yourself”. Both will stand back and let you get on with it, making the mistakes so that you grow, as you go.
She is very much like the Green Man in that she represents a time to both give and receive the natural flow of life both inwardly and outwardly. It’s time to find a new and thriving drive to begin and finish projects, relationships and perhaps even a new method of living your life and fulfilling your world.
However, with this blessing comes responsibility. This wonderful spirit can live through you, radiated by the sacred breath of life and given to others who need guidance and healing. It’s time to learn from the abundant and joyous spirit of the Earth. It’s time to be at one with yourself and the world around you.
