Today the last Major of the Arcana falls out as I ponder what message might mean. The first thing I noticed was the labyrinth at the base of the Great Oak Tree. I am reminded about the meanderings and twists and turns that we all have in our life. From one day to the next, from one moment to the next, we make and take decisions that can change the course of our destiny and life.
We have many chances in life to change our fate, but do we make the right choices? We don’t know until the moment of truth comes, as to whether it was the right choice, or not. All we can do is stand by our own choices and be open to change.
Change is often the bone of contention, the thing we fear the most. We have to change direction frequently, sometimes on the hoof, sometimes we get to think about it.
Today, there’s a lot of meanderings going on. If this card shows up in a reading, it’s reminding you to keep an eye on the end goal. No matter the twists and turns that happen, you need to take the chances that come up and use them to the best of their advantage. We never know what “gift” we’ll get in the present, that’s why it’s called “present”.
So today, as this card stands out on its own, it’s about enjoying the moment, despite the twists and turns. The World is full of surprises, good and bad! Enjoy the journey.
