This week we have the wonderful Moon on Water coming back out to join us (thanks to my middle child) but it might be limiting to us, if we dive too deep.
The Moon on Water is a brilliant card for meditating and working out what your inner self is trying to tell you. However, there is a danger that if you “dive within” too much, you forget to live the life we’ve been given and fail to interact with those that are around us.
Is it more important that you meditate when your kids are trying to tell you about their day at school? Or for you to phase out during a conversation? We all do it from time to time, but the planet Mercury is about to go retrograde (in reverse) and communications often go wonky during this time.
It’s a balancing act, doing the inner work and living in the present (a gift in itself to unwrap each day) but one we all need to do regularly. It’s also a balancing act to not be limiting ourselves to doing too much of one thing and not another.
What do you feel limited by from your inner self? What do you feel held back from externally? What do you feel is missing?
Taking something from your inner self and working on it for a while is just as valid as working with your inner self intensely day after day. (At least that is what I believe.) Sometimes, you just need to take things slowly.
So, for the reminder of this week, with Palamedes by our side, lets pick something and work with it for a few days, using the skills of subtly and intelligence to work on the inner self, as we all need to. As the Blocking or Covering card suggests, we probably won’t be at the full potential and we may be limiting ourselves by trying to do this work at this time.
